Pricing Policies and Rates
OUR RATES
Our rates differ from Cottage to Cottage, Season to Season (based on length of day, weather, activities available, etc). All our cottages are cozy and romantic and most ideal for two guests.
Our rates presume single or double occupancy and are are exclusive of 8.4% WA State tax and 2% San Juan County Lodgings tax (10.4% TOTAL tax).
EXTRA GUESTS
Isle Dream Cottage is cozy and designed for single or double occupancy ONLY. (NO EXTRA GUESTS)

Sea Dream Cottage is designed for two. However, we are able to welcome a very small child or infant. In this instance, we ask that you bring your own bedding for the infant or the child or infant must be able to share bed (King) with parents.

Mariner's Dream Cottage is a luxurient choice for two. We welcome a 3rd adult or 2 small children able to share a queen sofa bed here. The cottage is priced for 3 (so (no extra cost for 3rd guest on sofa bed). For accounting purposed 2 children aggregate age Less than 21 count as 3rd guest.
A 4th adult able to share the sofa bed is welcomed with the payment of $40/night surcharge.
COTTAGE SIZE and PRICING
Our Cottages sit alone on their own unique properties. The properties boast some of the very best views Orcas Island has to offer. As such, cottage size has little to do with our pricing. Please consider the entire experience, the property on which the cottage sits, the privacy offered. Please be reminded that our waterfront properties are all grand-fathered-in and as such built closer to the water than now permitted by county ordinances.

COTTAGE STYLE (see dream locations)
Please be reminded that all dream cottages are not the same. The differences are conscious. Although all are decorated smartly with country comfort in mind, each has a signature style selected to harmonize with the surrounding environment and the cottage layout. Given an opportunity to remodel (tear the original cottages down and build from scratch), we opted to take the more difficult (and often more expensive) route of updating (electricity, running water, reinforcing walls and, at times, foundations; adding windows, doors, etc.) while keeping the sometimes, "rustic"; sometimes "funky"; sometimes "hand-crafted" character of the old cottages in tact. Though not 4 stars in the conventional way, our cottages are, we think, a 5 star experience for those who seek nature's bounties--sound of waves, moonglow and much much more.

SEASONS
We divide the year into more rate seasons than the usual. We consider weather, length of day, activities/attractions available to you during your visit (again, your entire experience) when setting our seasons /prices. While it makes our accounting complicated, we like to think that dividing the year so that our prices go up/down by steps rather than jumps is logical and fair. We hope you agree.

1. Isle Dream Cottage is built and priced for 2 guests.
2. Sea Dream Cottage is priced for 2 guests; a small child or infant that can share the King Bed with parents is welcomed with prior authorization..
3. Mariner's Dream Cottage is priced for up to 3 adult guests. Two children ages totaling less than 21 is calculated as 1 adult for accounting purposed (so there is no extra fee for the little ones. Adding a 4th Adult incurs a $40/Night sur-charge. If booking for 4 and two are children please tell us their ages (We will remove the sur-charge on our end if they qualify).
*Rates are published for informational use only. Rates on the booking engine are not static and we reserve the right to change prices at any time. For pricing purposes, holidays are treated as weekend.
GRATUITY
We do not add on automatic gratuities nor do we charge extra for cleaning. Our staff comes before your stay to prepare your cottage/suite for your DREAM stay. They come after you leave to clean. Because we hold our guest's "privacy" so dear, you will likely not meet any of them. However, they are the ones that go the extra mile for you. While optional, gratuities are always appreciated. We recommend $30/stay (regardless of length of stay) at our cottages.
